Triangl Bathing Suit Sizing

Over the last month or so I have received a bunch of DM's and comments on Instagram asking me about Triangl sizing.

I have several Triangl bikinis and I love every one of them. The difficult part in finding the perfect swimsuit for you is Triangl swimwear is not sold in stores so it's impossible to try it on before purchasing.

So here's my advice on how to find the perfect fit for you:

First off, Triangl runs small. They don't carry higher than a size 10 which is definitely limiting as many people need higher than a 10! And to add insult to injury, the 10 basically fits like an 8. So I'd say try Triangl isn't for everybody and if you can't find a suit from the company that works for your body type, don't sweat it. There are plenty of other brands out there with a larger variety of sizing.

So, when choosing your size I would definitely go up at least half a size. For example, I usually wear an XS but in Triangl I'm an S. I once ordered an XS and returned it right away. It didn't offer any coverage on top and the bottoms were barely covering me. If you're stuck between two sizes, I'd opt for the larger one.

As far as the material goes, the neoprene (it's the same material as a scuba suit) is very comfortable and supportive. However, it doesn't offer much stretch and the bikini tops are not adjustable, only the straps are. Once again, this is why I recommend sizing up.

I also own a velvet Triangl bathing suit which is a string bikini so it's more adjustable, but the top is very flimsy so I had to get bra cups sewn into it.

Overall, Triangl suits are really unique and are made with phenomenal quality. They also come in the cutest little drawstring bags that you can use for safe storage.

Before purchasing, I'd take a look at the sizing chart on Triangl's website and see what works best for you. When in doubt. size up!
